BidGrid (“BidGrid”, “we”, “us”) operates an online auction and inventory marketplace where registered users (“Sellers”) list lots and other registered users (“Buyers”) bid on them.

By creating an account, checking the acceptance box at registration, bidding, listing, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our handling of your data as described here. If you do not agree, do not use BidGrid.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including bids placed by anyone you allow to use it.

BidGrid is a venue and payment facilitator. The sale contract for each lot is between the Buyer and the Seller who listed it. BidGrid is not the owner, importer, manufacturer, or warrantor of any lot unless the listing explicitly says BidGrid is the Seller.

Sellers are solely responsible for their listings being accurate, lawful, and their property to sell, and for delivering or releasing the goods after payment.

You must register with accurate contact and address information and keep it current. Usernames must not impersonate another person or business.

Before bidding you must place a valid payment card on file. By placing a card on file you authorize BidGrid and its payment processor to store it and to charge it automatically for any amount you owe under these terms, including invoices, fees, and re-listing losses.

We may suspend, limit, or close an account at any time for non-payment, suspicious bidding, fraud, chargeback abuse, or breach of these terms.

Every bid is a binding, irrevocable offer to buy that lot at that price. Bids cannot be retracted. If you are the high bidder when a lot closes, you have bought it.

Minimum opening bids and bid increments are set by the platform and shown on each lot. Increments step at $2.50 below $100, $5.00 from $100 to $199.99, and $10.00 at $200 and above unless a lot states otherwise.

Soft close / anti-sniping: if a bid is placed in the final moments of a lot, that lot's close time extends automatically so other bidders can respond. Lots in an event close in lot order at the interval the Seller configured.

All timing is determined by BidGrid's servers. Network latency, device clocks, and browser issues are your risk; a bid counts only when our server records it.

Bidding on your own lots (shill bidding), coordinating bids with others to manipulate price, or using bots or scripts is prohibited and grounds for immediate termination and reversal of affected sales.

There are no per-lot listing fees on BidGrid.

Buyer's premium: 10% of the hammer price is added to every winning transaction.

Payment processing fee: 3.5% is added, calculated on the hammer price plus the buyer's premium, to cover card processing.

Your invoice total is therefore: hammer price + 10% buyer's premium + 3.5% processing fee on that subtotal. Example: a $100 hammer price is $100.00 + $10.00 premium + $3.85 processing = $113.85.

Applicable sales tax, shipping, and any Seller-stated handling charges are additional and shown before or on your invoice.

Fees are non-refundable except where an entire transaction is cancelled or refunded by BidGrid or the Seller, in which case fees are refunded proportionally with the refunded amount.

When an event closes, your winning lots for that event are combined into a single invoice and your card on file is charged automatically. You will be able to view every invoice and receipt in your account.

If a charge fails, you must resolve it promptly. Unpaid invoices may block further bidding, and we may retry the card, cancel the sale, re-list the lot, and hold you responsible for any shortfall plus reasonable costs.

Initiating a chargeback instead of contacting us first is a breach of these terms. We will contest chargebacks on documented, delivered or collected lots.

Sellers receive the hammer price for lots they sell. BidGrid retains the buyer's premium, and the processing fee covers card costs.

Payouts are made to the Seller's connected payout account after the Buyer's payment settles. Sellers must complete payout onboarding and identity verification before funds can be released.

We may delay, withhold, or reverse a payout where a sale is disputed, refunded, charged back, or suspected to be fraudulent or non-compliant.

All lots are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with all faults and without any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, except any warranty that cannot be excluded by law.

Condition labels (New, Open Box – Tested, Used, For Parts, and any custom labels an event uses) and retail price references are estimates provided for convenience. Photos, titles, and descriptions sourced from barcode lookups may be imperfect. Bid on what you see, not on the reference data.

Buyers are responsible for collecting purchased lots from the stated pick-up address during the stated window, or for paying shipping where the event offers it. Lots not collected within the stated window may be treated as abandoned and disposed of without refund.

Because sales are as-is and final, there is no general right of return.

If a lot is materially not as described, notify us within 48 hours of pick-up or delivery with photos. Where the claim is supported, the Seller or BidGrid may refund the lot, in which case the associated premium and processing fee are refunded proportionally.

Contact BidGrid support first for any dispute. If it is not resolved, disputes are handled as set out in section 13.

Account owners may grant other users permission to manage a single event or all of their events. A granted manager may create, edit, and clerk lots and events on the owner's behalf.

The account owner remains fully responsible for everything done under a granted access, including fees and obligations arising from lots their managers list. Access can be revoked at any time.

You may not list or sell counterfeit goods, recalled products, stolen property, weapons or ammunition, hazardous materials, prescription drugs, live animals, or anything whose sale is restricted by law in the jurisdictions involved.

You may not scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform, or attempt to access data belonging to other users. Cost basis, buyer lists, and hammer totals are visible only to the event's owner and approved managers, and must not be redistributed.

The platform is provided “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for bids missed due to outages, latency, device failure, or maintenance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BidGrid's total liability arising from or relating to your use of the platform is limited to the total fees BidGrid earned on the transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages or lost profits.

You agree to indemnify BidGrid against claims arising from your listings, your bids, your goods, or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and BidGrid each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

While BidGrid is in beta, some environments allow simulated payment methods and test data. Transactions in a beta or preview environment are not real, create no legal obligation to pay, and may be reset or deleted at any time. Live transactions are always processed with a real card.
